You do not just work at MBI. You own part of it.
MBI is owned by its employees through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, or ESOP: a retirement benefit that gives employees an ownership interest in the company at no cost to them.
- Funded by MBI Employees do not contribute their own funds to the plan.
- Eligible at 21, after one year Eligibility begins once an employee is at least 21 years old and has completed one year of service.
- Vested over time Once eligible and entered in the plan, employees become vested in their ESOP benefit over a specified vesting period.
